Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casade has insisted he is ready to fight for a place in Enzo Maresca’s side. And is not considering a move away in January.

“After talking to the coach (in the summer), I was 100 per cent sure that staying was the best decision.”
“Maresca told me what he thought and I had no doubts. I stayed here regardless of possible loan offers. And I didn’t even think about the winter transfer window.”
“I am very proud to play for Chelsea and the competition was one of the reasons I decided to stay,” Casade said.
Casadei has yet to play in the Premier League this season. But has started two games, a 5-0 Carabao Cup win over Barrow and a 4-2 UEFA Conference League win over Ghent.
The 21-year-old is reportedly available for sale this summer. But boasts a good relationship with his fellow Italian, who was announced as the Blues’ new manager earlier this month, because of his loan spell at Leicester last season.
